Hashir Aazh, PhD is a specialist audiologist with an international reputation in the
assessment and rehabilitative treatment of hearing disorders, tinnitus, hyperacusis,
misophonia, and sound sensitivity. He has published over 70 research papers and is
widely recognised for pioneering diagnostic and treatment methods in audiology. He
serves as President of the 4th World Tinnitus Congress (London, 2027) and the 8th
International Conference on Hyperacusis and Misophonia (Germany, 2026). An
independent ranking has recognised Dr Aazh as the number one expert in hyperacusis
in Europe, second worldwide, and among the top one percent of tinnitus experts
globally over the last decade.
Dr Aazh and his specialist team provide comprehensive assessment and rehabilitation
for adults and children with hearing difficulties, tinnitus, hyperacusis, misophonia, and
complex sound-processing conditions. Care is evidence-based, personalised, and
clearly explained at every stage.
Hearing Tests
We offer thorough hearing assessments for adults and children using advanced
diagnostic equipment. This includes evaluation of conductive, sensorineural, and mixed
hearing loss, as well as conditions such as distorted hearing, diplacusis (double
hearing), polyacusis (multiple hearing), delayed hearing, and echoic or autophonic
hearing. Results are discussed in detail, with practical recommendations tailored to
everyday listening needs.
Ear Wax Removal
Safe and professional ear wax removal is provided using microsuction, ensuring comfort
and clarity of hearing while minimising risk. This is particularly important for people with
conductive hearing loss, tinnitus, or sound sensitivity.
Advanced Hearing Aids
We supply and fit modern, discreet hearing aids featuring wireless streaming,
rechargeable batteries, and wellbeing-focused technologies. Devices are carefully selected and optimised to improve clarity, reduce listening effort, and support communication in daily life.
Tinnitus Care
We provide specialist assessment of tinnitus severity, its impact on daily life, and related
conditions such as aural fullness, hypersensitive hearing, and reactive tinnitus. CBT –
based tinnitus programmes are available to reduce distress, improve coping, and
support long-term self-management, addressing emotional, cognitive, and behavioural
aspects alongside audiological care.
Support for Hyperacusis and Misophonia
We offer evidence-based assessment and rehabilitation for sound sensitivity conditions,
including hyperacusis and misophonia. Care plans focus on rebuilding sound tolerance,
reducing fear and discomfort, and restoring confidence in everyday environments. For
children and young people, assessment reports include guidance for schools, with
written recommendations and letters outlining reasonable adjustments to support
learning and wellbeing.
