About

I am an integratively trained counsellor with a degree in Reflective and Therapeutic Practice from The Metanoia Institute, London, and additional specialist training in Attachment-Based Psychotherapy. I offer a thoughtful, relational, and trauma-informed approach, providing a calm and compassionate space where you can talk openly and be met with care.

I have experience working in hospice and hospital settings and within charitable organisations, supporting adults (18+) affected by cancer and life-limiting illness, bereavement, and loss. I also work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of major life transitions, offering a reflective and personalised approach to therapy. I understand how times of change, uncertainty, and bodily vulnerability can stir deep emotions and leave people feeling unsettled or alone. My aim is to help you navigate challenges with clarity, resilience, and self-compassion. I bring a rich background of teaching, mentoring, and advocating for parents of children with additional needs. This experience has strengthened my skills in listening deeply, empowering individuals, and supporting clients through complex, often stressful, life circumstances.

My approach is informed by an attachment-based perspective, which means I pay close attention to how early relational patterns shape the ways we cope, relate to others, and treat ourselves. Together, we gently explore these patterns, supporting greater self-understanding, emotional safety, and more compassionate ways of being with yourself and others. Attachment-based therapy is particularly helpful in helping individuals heal past traumas, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Together, we work toward meaningful change at your pace. I look forward to meeting you.
