About

Life isn’t just for living; it’s for flourishing. As a mental health coach and social support consultant, I partner with people on their recovery journey as they navigate their mental health challenges towards meaning, fulfilment, and purpose.

I am a strengths-based, holistic practitioner who draws on the theory and practice of positive psychology. My work integrates evidence-informed approaches including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural coaching, and graded exposure, alongside a trauma-informed style.

I have over 20 years’ experience working in mental health in both NHS and Social Services settings and have also volunteered extensively in the charitable sector in both pastoral and training roles. Life changed for me when I became a full-time unpaid carer for a close relative with dementia. I now work part-time in the statutory sector.

I work across the mental health spectrum, including:

  • Anxiety and depressive disorders
  • Agoraphobia
  • Psychosis (including bipolar disorder and schizophrenia)
  • Neurodivergence
  • Dementia

I also work with carers and families as they navigate their loved ones’ illness and recovery.
