About Me

I have been practising as a clinical psychologist since 1996. I have gained valuable experience over the past 28 years, across a wide range of mental health difficulties.

I offer online psychotherapy (with occasional face-to-face appointments) to anyone struggling with their lives in different ways. Problems might include depression, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, medical conditions, disabilities, trauma of all kinds, relationship difficulties, sleep disturbances, eating disorders, neurodiversity (including ADHD and ASD), emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, and problems associated with infancy, childhood, adolescence and pregnancy.

I am particularly interested in offering guidance and support to parents of children, babies and teens who are struggling in some way. Growing up can be more difficult and complicated for some children than for others.

Parents can really benefit from psychological guidance as they face these challenges, so that they can best support their children. Mental, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties can occur at any age, during
childhood and beyond. Part of my objective is to offer you an educated and coherent psychological perspective about your child’s difficulties, with ideas about the best way forward. My attitude is collaborative, positive and relaxed.

I use an Integrative approach to psychotherapy. My work is informed and influenced by a deep understanding of psychodynamic psychotherapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and mindfulness training. I try to find the balance between recent evidence-based research and a holistic, uniquely person-centered focus.
